Insure yourself and your belongings.....!!
All of the lodges that I represent require a 50% deposit up to 90 days prior to your acutal trip. The deposits are non-refundable. However, there are instances where
cancelling your trip may allow for the money to be "rolled over" into next year. It depends upon many variables and is not always an option. This is a common business practice throughout the lodging
and fishing industry. Spaces are limited and reservations are made well in advance with the notion that you will be at your destination on the dates reserved. If you have any doubt or uncertianty
please purchase trip insurance, you will not regret it if circumstances arise where you are not able to make a trip that you have planned.
I strongly suggest the use of trip insurance. You never know when you will have to postpone/cancel a trip due to various reasons. The lodges and guides that I work
with each have a different protocal for trip cancellations. Some will postpone your trip for another date and others will keep your deposit money because to them, its a lost trip that day or week
that they cannot re-book because of short notice.Trip insurance, most of the time, will be able to re-emburse you for your money spent. They insure things from plane tickets to personal belongings to
trip deposits. The company that I would suggest is Travel Guard. You can also do your own research of course. To go directly to their site just click the link provided here:
