I have fished many of the rivers surrounding the Bozeman area. If the names Yellowstone, Madison, Gallitian, Big Horn, Big Hole and Beaverhead peak your interest just let me know. I have many guides that I have become friends with thoughout the Montana area that will take good care of you. Whether your looking for a half day trip to a full 5 day camp/float trip I will be able to cater to your needs. There are many programs to choose from.

The best time to visit Montana starts around mid July. I say that because at times, it can be hit or miss due to the run off that occurs every year in June or early July dependant upon the climate. Montana will fish all the way into September which was my favortie time to fish. The weather is beautiful and fish are still very active. Montana has some of the most superb fly fishing an angler can ask for. Added bonuses are the scenery of course. There is no place like it. During the season, you can have the best of all methods of fly fishing that you choose to use. The choice of what to use depends upon the time of day usually. Streamers, Dry Flies and Nymphs can all be used within a days time.

There are many options when considering Montana as a fly fishing destination. I have arranged 3 day camping/float trips or just a 1/2 day trip depending on your preference. Either way you choose, it will be magnificent. Montana trout fishing is one of a kind!

Sunset on the Bitteroot while doing a float/camp trip.

Great video of the Montana diverstiy. It was made by the son of the first guide I ever fished with.....

The Yellowstone River above Yankee Jim Canyon.

Another camping trip on the Clark Fork with a local guided service. I was working for him at the time. Really great trip.

On a walk/wade trip on the Gallitian River just outside of Bozeman. Great place to throw some dry flies with some nice fish too.

Lower Yellowstone near Paradise Valley. Great place to fish and soak up some sun during the summer and early fall months. Always a chance of hooking into something big when fishing the Yellowstone too!

Travel to Montana is very easy. Just search Bozeman(BZN) or Missoula(MSO) depending on where we find the trip fits your needs.
